I love this company understands that a probiotic is just that... a probiotic. An XL dog doesn't need 4x as much as a cat, just like a 100lb young female takes the same dose as a 300lb adult male. I like that they have inulin to act as a prebiotic to feed the probiotics in the gut.
However, these are low in actual probiotics. 1 billion of 2 strands is low compared to other brands that are 5-6+ billion of 4-7+ strands. For the higher price compared to my current brands, I expect a better product.
That being said, my dog didn't react to these at all and she wasn't having any GI or skin issues, and isn't after switching to these for a few weeks, so I'm ok giving them to her on occasion, but we're going back to our regular, stronger probiotics that are labeled as use for dogs AND cats (which if you check the cat version of these, they appear to be the exact same... why not just call it a pet probiotic? It's not like the two searched out the best strands for either species...).
