Probiotic Supplement for Cats - 30 Packets

I like the single serve packets that make it very easy to get the correct dose. The powder can be sprinkled on food, but my cat is particular so I have to wet it and mix it into wet food to get him to eat it. It does seem to mix in well without a flavor change that my cat is averse to. He like to catch all sorts of animals outside, so I like to give him probiotics periodically to try to prevent any potential digestive flare up. I always prefer supplements that are made in the USA.

At the current price of $19 for 30 packets, these are less expensive than the probiotic my vet recommends (Purina FortiFlora). Both products have 1 gram per packet, and both include the probiotic Enterococcus faecium, although Purina identifies the strain (SF68). Dog nerd podcasts I listen to do recommend going with probiotics from reputable companies where the strains are identified, as you are feeding your dog a live bacteria product, and don't want to feed them something that will harm rather than help them. Joyfull includes Lactobacillus acidophilus where FortiFlora does not. Joyfull probiotics also include inulin, a prebiotic fiber. Might cover some extra bases. (FortiFlora for cats includes taurine, where Joyfull does not.) For the folks worried about dosing amounts, Joyfull makes the exact same product in the same quantities but branded for cats, so it doesn't seem like size (or species) matters in this case. My cats were disinterested in it until I mixed it in their food. I like that it's very powder like so it simply melts. My stinky poop cat ---- no more!

These Joyfull Probiotics are a nice addition to our cat's wet food to ensure she is maintaining adequate gut health as she ages. I sprinkled the powder on her food and mixed it in with my finger. She happily lapped up the gravy, so she was fine with whatever changes she experienced in texture and taste though she often tends to be picky. The powder mixed in easily and did not clump; it dispensed from the packaging easily, and I like that each "dose" is premeasured, so it keeps meal time simple. I'm excited to see whether this helps our girl with digestion, as she sometimes has food come back up after a meal.

The Joyfull probiotic for cats has been a great help for digestive support. I started using it during a bout of loose stools, and I noticed improvement fairly quickly with consistent use. The fact that it contains clinically proven probiotic strains gave me confidence, especially for managing diarrhea and overall gut health.

What really sets this apart is the beef bone broth flavor — my cat eats it without hesitation when mixed into food, which is huge because probiotics can be tricky with picky cats. The individual daily packets make dosing easy and mess-free.

We received a box of 30 probiotic powders to sprinkle in the cat's food. It does not seem to make a different to the cat as she eats the food at the same rate with no hesitation.

Luckily my cats seem to have less digestive issues than my dogs. But probotics always help. I used to only use them on an as needed basis, but when one of my cats reached 13 she started having some digestive problems. So I add probotics to her diet on a regular basis several times a week and believe it helps. I think probotics are something everyone should keep on hand to benefit their pet. 

We have a lot of cats. Every time we bring one home from the shelter/rescue, there is always a gastro issue.... always. We decided to get a probiotic to help ease the flow, if you know what I mean. We were excited for the "beef bone broth", but instead we got a powder.

Ease of use: This is not a broth. It is a powder. That does not make it very easy to use. We found the only way we can get our cats to eat it is by mixing it with a tube (ie Churu). Not the most ideal, since tubes tend to be more like treats. It doesn't really have a smell and I have no clue if they like the taste, since I can't feed it to them by itself.

Function: I am not sure how great it works. Maybe the movements are slightly less stinky? I think a good probiotic is a subtle thing. I don't think its hurting at all. Probiotics are almost always good for the health in some way.

For the cost, I'm not sure how good of a value it is. Especially since it isn't a stand alone product.

I started using this probiotic for my adult cat who occasionally experiences loose stools and digestive sensitivity. I mixed one packet into her regular wet food once daily. Within a few days, her stools became more formed and consistent, and she seemed more comfortable overall.

The product seems to be working good. I was just informed of a large price increase however so I’ll be looking for a replacement.

I've had my cat for about 3 years now and ever since he was a baby his poo 💩 has been the most stank thing ever. And runny-ish. Someone recommended I try probiotics and so I started this one yesterday. In ONE day it worked. That’s actually incredible to me! He's gone right in front of me and there's no smell at all. I ordered this supplement for its probiotic digestive support. My cat can be picky so I wasn't sure how he would like it. I use it as a topper on his wet food and thankfully he eats it up quickly. The pouches open easily and I feed this to him with his breakfast daily. After about a week I see no difference in his digestion but he continues to have regular bowel movements. The ingredients included are good quality and he seems to like the taste.

I decided to give this a try for my sometime finicky, digestive issue cat. Both my cats seem to like it more than another leading brand and OMG I am finally seeing firm poo in the litter box my cat with digestive issues uses. I'm going to stick with this for a while and hope it keeps working.

I was happy to find this product for our cat. We only use it occassionally (or as needed) if they are having tummy trouble. Our cat likes the flavor and treat, so I would consider that a win. Also, it is nice it isn't a pill. Feeding medicine to our cat is not fun at all.

Great stuff! My anorexic cat is gobbling down wet food that I sprinkle with these probiotics. Apparently it's also increasing her appetite which is good. We're happy. Glad I gave them a try.

At first, I was hesitant to write the review after only ONE use- However, our Furr-baby (cat) is 14 1/2 yo. Since we moved, he has had mushy poos every potty, making a stinky mess of the litter pan. Our big ol' ginger kitty always looks traumatized by this. Although, we try to clean after every potty- I just didn't feel that was enough. We invested in a self-cleaning litter pan and mat and JOYFULL Probiotic for Cats- Very FIRST little pouch- when our older boy went to the bathroom - Solid Poo! There wasn't a question that it was his potty as he was just leaving the potty pan! And he had only recently, maybe a few hours ate his food with the JOYFULL Probiotic applied to his food. I really can’t tell if it’s doing anything positive so I can’t speak to effectiveness (yet), but it doesn’t seem to be doing anything negative so that’s good. My cats have no problem eating it, no digestive issues that I can see. It may take using it for a few months before benefits are seen, but I am giving it to my cats preemptively and not because there’s an issue I’m trying to correct.

As we all know, cats reserve the right to like or dislike anything at a moment's notice for no reason whatsoever. So I was happily surprised when I saw Pizza (my cat) going to town on some treats with this probiotic sprinkled on top. My cats are picky eaters, so it's difficult to try to get them to eat anything healthy. As such, any supplement my cats will eat is a great supplement in my book. Especially for something as beneficial as probiotics. I'm very happy my cats will eat this without fuss! Healthy cats = happy human.

I like that this probiotic is made in the USA and has a clean ingredient list. It was super easy to use. I just sprinkled it over my cat’s regular food and she ate it without any fuss. My cat has a sensitive stomach, and now that she’s getting older, I worry more about keeping her healthy and comfortable. This felt like an easy way to give her a little extra digestive support without changing her food or routine. We didn’t have any issues at all, and it didn’t seem to bother her stomach.

These probiotics for cats seem to be helping one of our kitties that was having lose stools for a few days before trying these probiotics. Her runny poos have improved and she doesn't stress as much as she used to while going. I'm a big supporter of probiotics for people, as I know of (& have experienced) the great benefits. So, being able to give my fur babies these probiotics for cats is greatly beneficial to them, as it improves their digestion and improves their overall gut health. I add it to their tuna or wet cat food and they don't mind the taste or actually like it, as it hasn'tswayed their appetite at all. They eat it with no issues. I know these quality probiotics has helped my kitty with the GI issues and I know it's improving the gut health of my other fur babies, as well.
