About Us

Founded by a helicopter dog parent and an animal-lover-turned-veterinarian, we set out to do things differently.

01 - We start with clean ingredients.

High-quality proteins, never meat byproducts. We leave out stuff that pets don’t need like gluten, grains, and trans fats. Every ingredient is checked by the Environmental Working Group database for safety.

02 - We add in extra health benefits.

Like the gummy vitamin for kids, our treats with benefits are for our beloved pets. Each product line delivers on a specific health benefit, formulated by a team of veterinarians and led by peer-reviewed studies. We take transparency even further by sharing the specific research papers we referenced to make our decisions, which you can always read here.

03 - We undergo third-party testing.

We voluntarily perform efficacy, safety and purity testing beyond what’s required because we wholeheartedly believe that pets deserve the best. And as pet parents ourselves, we want to make sure we can stand four paws down behind our product quality.

We're the first pet treat to achieve CLP certification.

We walk the talk. While we do everything to ensure the ingredients in our recipes are healthful, we take it one step further by ensuring they're free of hidden contaminants like metals and pesticides.
